A given scientific field cannot operate on it's own--it exists at an axis of several other fields. It is the nature of reality that the concepts within it must relate to each other, because they all draw from that same, single reality.

Science is the observation of reality. A scientific field focuses on one aspect of reality. But, how could we have ever known what illnesses are without microbiology? How could we have ever defined neurology without human anatomy? More relevantly, how can we know if the sasquatch (if it exists) is a primate without primatology, or if the loch ness monster being a pod of plesiosaurs is a viable theory without paleontology?
This is crypto-connectivity. Crypto-connectivity, in shorter terms, is the concept that often unseen or unrecognized strands connect all sciences together, and that these strands, and the grand web they weave, must be recognized in order to conduct science properly.
